About Oak Ridge Marina

Oak Ridge Marina first opened in 1981. It offered one of the first boat ramps available on Lake Fork.

Location

Oak Ridge is located on the east side of the lake on State Highway 154, which runs from Quitman to Sulphur Springs. The address is 2919 W. State Highway 154, which is ¼ mile south of the 154 bridge across Lake Fork.

Description

The property includes a motel, lodge, restaurant, tackle store, RV park and several waterfront facilities, including boat ramp, covered boat slips, fish cleaning station, pavillion and fishing pier. Along the waterfront, the property includes two distinct peninsulas. The RV park occupies one of these peninsulas and the boat ramp and truck/boat trailer parking are on the other.

Recent Developments

Over the span of the last 30+ years, ownership of the marina has changed hands several times. The current owners have owned Oak Ridge since 2010 and continue to improve the property daily: • Spring of 2010: remodeled and reopened the restaurant. • Fall of 2010: put in a new boat ramp. • Spring of 2011: remodeled and reopened the tackle store. • Fall of 2011: put mini-fridges, microwaves and DirecTv in all of the motel rooms. • Spring of 2012: built the pavillion and pier. • Summer of 2013: added Ole Hickory rotisserie smoker to the restaurant. • Summer of 2015: built out additional storage rooms for restaurant, tackle and office. • Winter of 2016: relocated office and built out new Swimbait Showroom in the tackle store. • Spring of 2017: added 12 new boat slips at the end of the pier. • Fall of 2017: repaved asphalt parking lot • Since then: continue to make improvements across the entire property.
