Pro Staff? Nope…
At Oak Ridge, you won’t find a “Pro Staff” of fishing guides. We do this for a reason. We believe guides need multiple places to hang their hats. If the fish are biting on one side of the lake, guides shouldn’t be tied down to the other side. If a motel has no rooms available for a particular weekend, customers need somewhere else to stay. As a result, we welcome all of the guides (and all of their customers) to Oak Ridge. We have NO business relationship with any of the guides: we offer ALL licensed guides the same benefits (free use of our ramp, free drink with meal and a discount on tackle), regardless of any affiliation they may have with other businesses. This way, there’s never any question whether someone got preferential treatment. When we recommend a guide, we choose from the list of ALL available guides, not just the “Pro Staff”. As a result, you can rest assured that our recommendation is based on what we believe to be the best option for you, your fishing abilities and objectives, not because we feel obligated to pitch a “Pro Staff”. In return, tell your guide that you want to stay at Oak Ridge! You always have the option of choosing where you want to stay. Listed below is a compilation of the many Lake Fork guides we are aware of. To aid your search, you can filter the list by what’s important to you and sort by the field you’re interested in. This will help reduce the size of the guide list somewhat. We attempt to keep this list current and error free. If we missed someone or have any errors in the data below, please let us know.
