BOATING AMENITIES

Oak Ridge offers many amenities for anglers and boaters.

Boat Ramp

Re-constructed in 2010, the Oak Ridge boat ramp offers two lanes of launch. The ramp remains 100% usable down to a lake level of 7.5 feet below normal pool (usable down to 395.5 ft above mean sea level).

Boat Slips

Oak Ridge has 12 covered boat slips complete with electrical outlets. These slips are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to Oak Ridge’s overnight guests for $10 per night. They may be reserved in advance. They are not available for long-term rental. Pontoon boats require two boat slips. A fish-cleaning station complete with electricity and running water is available on the boat slips.

Pavillion

The pavillion and fishing pier were built in the spring of 2012. This structure offers a convenient and picturesque gathering place for tournament weigh-ins and other group activities. It’s also a great place to just sit in the shade on a pleasant afternoon.

Fishing Pier

The pier provides an easy way to embark/disembark from your boat as well as a great place to toss in a line. Bass and catfish are often caught from the pier.

Boat-Friendly Shoreline

Oak Ridge’s shoreline offers convenient boat parking access for those coming up to the restaurant for lunch or anglers that need to run up to the tackle store for more of those “magic” baits.

Battery Charging Outlets

Each motel room on the property offers electrical outlets outside of each room. These outlets provide a convenient place to plug in your on-board charger.
